Join CFM Local 820 for our bi-monthly meet-up series for private music teachers!

This series’ aim is to bring together the many musicians who run studios out of their home/apartment to discuss, share and collaborate.

Each meet-up will be hosted by an experienced private teacher. The coming meeting will be hosted by private music instructor, Lianne Harway

About Lianne:

Lianne Harway was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario and began playing flute at the age of 10. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree from University of Windsor in 2014, where she studied with Jaimie Wagner and Liesel Deppe. Lianne has performed in various camps and masterclasses, including Panoramic Flutist (Nancy Stagnitta, Lisa Garner Santa, Christina Jennings), The Consummate Flutist (Soo-Kyong Park, Jeanne Baxstresser, Alberto Almarza), William Bennett Summer Flute Academy, and Project! The Camp, with Project Trio. She has taught students of all different ages and skill levels. Lianne is currently pursuing a master’s degree in performance/pedagogy at Memorial University of Newfoundland, where she studies with Michelle Cheramy and plays in the wind ensemble and chamber orchestra. In the near future, Lianne hopes to obtain certification in body mapping.
