All Ages: Live Music: Katie Power and Roxanne Delage at the Battery Cafe

Join us for two heartfelt performances on St Patricks night: Katie Power at 7:00, and Roxanne Delage.

Katie sings at the intersection of indie rock, folk and soul. Her music is infused with down-to-earth storytelling, humour and energizing vibes, influenced by Florence and the Machine, Simon and Garfunkel, Lauryn Hill, CCR, Jonie Mitchell, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, and others.

Roxanne Delage is a singer-songwriter originally from North Glengarry, Ontario, now living in St. John’s. Her music is ’70s-flavoured adult contemporary. and her songs individually evoke a painter’s pallet of moods with hints of country, folk, and jazz, all featured on her album “The Way I Am” released in 2012.
