Adrian House released his first solo album, Angel Eyes, to critical acclaim and CBC airplay in 2012, and was featured on CBC Radio's Liner Notes with Mack Furlong.
House's 2013 solo album "Too Strong" received 3 Music NL award nominations: Songwriter of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, and Country artist of the year. Katie Baggs, Jake Nicoll and Neil Conway all leant their talents to the album. The Scope praised the album's "collection of simple, heartfelt songs" with comparisons to the Velvet Underground and Hank Williams.
After a solo showcase at the 2016 Music NL Awards in Bonavista, Adrian released his latest album, Love a Man, in November 2016. The album is an eclectic collection of songs showcasing the diversity of his musical influences, including rock, folk, blues and even French cabaret. The Overcast (St. John’s) praised the record and its “courageous exploration of the artist’s breadth of abilities,” and the album has received consistent airplay on CBC, CHMR and K-Rock. Adrian was featured on CBC Newfoundland’s First Listen, 97.5 K-Rock’s Under the Influence, and the single “Princesses” has been aired on CBC’s East Coast Music Hour. In February 2017 “Princesses” was selected as “Producer’s Pick” on the East Coast Countdown. In April Adrian received a 2 page feature in the Newfoundland Herald, which called his music “expressive, honest and above all, impactfuul, in all of the ways that count.”
Since March 2015 House has also led The Crazy Hearts, a Hank Williams tribute band featuring Darren "Boobie" Browne, Dave Rowe, Allan Ricketts and Carole Bestvater. The band performed at the 2015 and 2016 NL Bluegrass and Country Jamboree in St. John's.
