Chris Ryan talks new music and a love for those who’ve gone before him

 

The Top of the Country project was great for Chris Ryan‘s career, he says, because it put his name, and his music, out there. Ryan also plays guitar for sensational powerhouse Carolina East.

“She’s had a great year so its been pretty crazy and we will continue to work together as I keep working on this sophomore album.”

Ryan, who grew up in Kilbride but has Bonavista roots, has also worked with Andrew James O’Brien of Fortunate Ones. “Co-writing with Andy has been incredible. He’s what people should long to be as a human and an artist. I’m very lucky to call him a friend. He has one of the best hearts and is a very genuine soul as a person and as an artist.”
