SONGWRITERS ASSOCIATION OF CANADA SEEKS FEEDBACK

The Songwriters Association of Canada (S.A.C.) is conducting a survey to better understand the main issues faced by professional music creators.

The association – now in its 35th year of operation – aims to learn how different aspects of the music industry can impact music creators in Canada and how S.A.C. can act on their behalf to help solve them.

Those who take part in the survey are eligible for prizes which will be drawn randomly.

The prizes include:

+ 1st prize: 2-year complimentary membership
+ 2nd prize: 1-year complimentary membership
+ 3rd prize: 50% discount for 1-year membership

In order to be eligible for the prize draws, your survey must include your email and be completed by July 26, 2018 5pm EDT. Email and survey respondent answers are confidential. To complete the survey, click here.

The questionnaire covers areas such as digitization (i.e. impact of on-line streaming services), being a music creator, income, S.A.C.’s programming and advocacy initiatives, discrimination, harassment and other work environment related issues.
