This funding supports artists in all stages of project development from creation to marketing. Diverse artists and genres in demos, EP's, full-length sound recordings, marketing and promotion materials are eligible.

MusicNL Week 2018 Travel Subsidy

Travel subsidies will be available for all MusicNL members supporting them to attend MusicNL Week 2018 up to a maximum of 50%.

FUNDING: MUSICNL MARKET ACCESS

This touring funding is designed to assist export-ready, independent artist development outside of the province; to increase awareness locally, nationally and internationally of provincially produced music as an art form and as a viable industry

The Artist Development Program offers a $2,000 subsidy toward one year of artist development activities including sound recording, touring & showcasing, video production, marketing and promotion.

The Juried Sound Recording program contributes toward the cost of acquiring, producing and marketing a full length album. Submissions are assessed by an independent jury of music industry professionals. With your application, you must submit:

TIMA is a homegrown annual award ceremony and series of showcases with a mandate to provide independent musicians with a platform to attain the knowledge and tools for success. It was created in 2004 by Dani Oliva to support independent musicians. TIMA is free for musicians that reside in the Province of Ontario.

CANADA MUSIC INCUBATOR ARTIST MANAGER PROGRAM

The Artist Manager Program is an eight-week professional development program designed to mentor active artist managers and/or self-managed artists in a real world music industry environment. Delivered in collaboration with Coalition Music (Our Lady Peace, Simple Plan, USS, Finger Eleven, Justin Nozuka), this program takes a customized hands-on approach to working with artist managers to help build their management businesses and develop the careers of their artists.

NATIONAL MUSIC CENTRE’S ARTIST IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS
