Born and raised in Central Newfoundland, but I have spent many years in St. John's (and was living in Alberta and BC for a few years in the 2000's.) I have always been drawn to music, and my influences are surely Leonard Cohen, The National, Radiohead, and Elliott Smith. I started writing my own songs more than 20 years ago, recording a few hundred on a BOSS BR-864 digital 8 track I bought in Fort MacMurray in 2003. But it's only in the past 2 years that I have started getting out and playing at more open mics, including hosting my first one at the Peter Easton (thanks to Matt Hornell for the opportunity), and finally got my act together enough to record a professional sounding album with the help of Ian Foster. This album is called Dahlia and is available on my Bandcamp, and on all streaming platforms.
