Newfoundland Folk Festival
Folk \ Bluegrass \ Roots
The 42nd Annual Newfoundland & Labrador Folk Festival presented by Equinor is a three day celebration of community, culture, music, and craft! Our province is renowned for its contributions to the musical fabric of Canada and we do all we can to wave that flag high and proud.
Presented by The Newfoundland & Labrador Folk Arts Society with a host of volunteers, sponsors and partners, the Festival is a summertime tradition that has been shared by thousands.
Festival-goers and musicians enjoyed a weekend of celebrating Newfoundland & Labrador’s unique culture with great traditional and contemporary music. Spread across the TD Main Stage, the TD Neil Murray Stage, Craft Council Craft Tent, The Francophone of Newfoundland and Labrador Tent, the Dance, Oral Traditions, Instrumental, and the Homemade Jam Tent, there are interactive workshops where attendees can collaborate, learn a dance, a tune, a tale, and artisans can showcase their incredible skills. This is a place where peoples with disabilities can be hosted by accessibility features throughout Bannerman Park, and an inspired team. Local businesses and organizations can thrive creatively in building an experience for their neighbours.
The NL Folk Festival is family friendly, and attracts people from all over the world, it is heralded as one of the province’s premiere cultural events, and is a honed as a point of pride for those involved.
