This live CD was recorded during their 2015 cross-Canada tour, which took them to Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary and across Alberta and into Saskatchewan for a concert tour organized by Home Roots/Chemin Chez Nous, Canada’s premier house concert network. During this tour they also performed on the train, heading west, as guests of Via Rail’s Artist Onboard program, and returned to Newfoundland for 14 local concerts in and around St. John’s.
Dave Panting and Dan Rubin are multi-instrumentalists who share a love for folk and world music. Together they play more than a dozen instruments and as songwriters have explored a wide range of genres from folk to blues to classical music and rock. Together they are a formidable creative team, as this new live recording demonstrates. In November, they will be touring Ontario during their second Home Routes tour, performing for rural audiences across Ontario and into Quebec.
