Esteemed past presidents will attend an exclusive Past President Luncheon, an occasion to celebrate invaluable contributions and leadership over the years.
The event will provide a platform to honour legacy and recognize roles played in guiding MusicNL’s success. Together, we will reflect on past achievements, celebrate milestones, and lay the foundation for a promising future.
One-on-One meetings with Darryl Hurs of Indie Week

Darryl Hurs is a music industry professional with 30+ years of experience in various roles including venue booking, talent buying, artist management, instruction, sponsorship, and design. As the Market Manager for CD Baby Canada, he is responsible for brand recognition, sponsorships/partnerships, and artist education. Previously, he worked with Live Nation on projects for major artists like Beyonce and Jay-Z, as well as branding/logo development and web design (vipnation.com). Darryl is also the founder and manager of INDIE WEEK, one of Canada’s largest music showcase festivals and conferences. He successfully pivoted the festival to virtual hosting in response to COVID-19, offering four annual online music conferences (INDIE WEEK, SCREENxSCREEN, indie101, Music Pro Summit) and a weekly webinar series called INDIE WEEKLY. Moreover, Darryl has created a thriving innovative social network and global music community for artists and professionals (http://ditcommunity.com).
Darryl is known for his visionary leadership, mentorship, and speaking engagements. He is dedicated to supporting emerging artists and the growth and development of the Canadian music industry.

Mental Health One on Ones

Do you have concerns about your mental health or substance use? Have you had difficulty accessing supports you feel would help you? Have you self diagnosed based on symptoms and would like a professional opinion? Are you looking for a plan to achieve mental wellness?
Errin Williams, licensed clinical therapist and social worker with over 10 years of mental health counselling experience, will talk with you over the phone or video conferencing site to complete a confidential intake and come up with a plan with you to meet your wellness goals. One on one counselling is available through this program if it is determined that it would benefit you.

This information will be kept confidential and reviewed by our clinical therapist to help best direct and support you. You will be contacted within a week to discuss therapy.

Performance by the Celtic Fiddlers
The Celtic Fiddlers is presently celebrating their 30th anniversary of performing traditional music. Recently finished their sixth tour of Ireland and have returned with some great new music.
Under the direction of Korona Brophy the Fiddlers have recorded six CDs and have toured throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, Ireland, the Isle of Man, New York and Ottawa. They’ve played for royalty, premiers and presidents, and at festivals, conferences and shows all year round.
