acronym is my baby, for lack of a better term!
My day to day “jobs” are many, many and change every day – from A&R, to plotting the creative course in tandem with the roster, to providing Business Activity structure, to working global relationships etc – the list is vast. But I am fortunate to be able to accomplish the goals set by the business and by the Artists themselves working with and alongside an amazing group of Independent Services companies in many countries (PR, Radio, Marketing etc).
The roster currently has 5 Artists most of which we work with globally – Kaia Kater, Mikhail Laxton, Del Barber, Megan Nash and Maïa Davies. We are expanding the roster in 2024, but can’t say who yet and I’m always looking!
Artists on acronym have been nominated for/or won Junos, multiple WCMA’s, multiple Canadian Folk Music Awards, multiple Saskatchewan Music Awards, Capital Music Awards and have been on the Long List for the Polaris Music Prize.

An added bonus – getting to talk with artists he grew up listening to, like Voivod, Anthrax, Misfits, plus Canadian rap icon Shad.
Being awarded the MusicNL Press On Grant (2020) allowed for enrollment in Berklee’s Professional Certificate program focused on music supervision, licensing, and publishing. Split between Halifax and St. John’s as the East Coast Music Association’s (ECMA) Membership & Special Projects Manager since 2021, Anthony has managed: the awards and showcasing manuals, submission process, festival programming, sync clearance, cue sheet submissions, and drafting contracts.
